Knaresborough Lions Club is a service organisation run entirely by volunteers. We put on events throughout the year to help raise money to support individuals and organisations who need assistance.
Donate to the Knaresborough Lions
The Bed Race is our biggest event of the year. It has been running since 1966, and we became involved in the 1990s. We start planning in September the year before, so that when the second Saturday in June arrives, we can guarantee the fabulous community event that we all love.
All profits from organising the event go to support those in need, be it individuals and organisations locally, or global disasters. At least 80% of all we raise goes straight back into the local community. Any donation you can make will be gratefully received, and you can be assured that 100% of your donation will go directly to good causes.
