The teams for the 2024 Great Knaresborough Bed Race have been announced
The teams for 2024's Great Knaresborough Bed Race were selected in a draw at the Knaresborough WMC on Kirkgate on Wednesday 20th March. A packed room saw 90 teams selected from the 108 entrants to take part in this year's race, with the result as follows:

Bed Race Chairman Martin Brock was keen to mention that it was not the end of the road for those who missed out:
"We're delighted for those who made it into the race, and with the clocks changing soon, we can expect to see teams starting to train very soon. However, there is obviously disappointment for those 18 who were not selected. I have been in that position before so know how tough it can be on the night. We do always get drop outs, so while those 18 teams will be refunded, we will make contact if a place comes up to find out interest and will hold a mini draw for that place among those teams who still want to participate."
This year's race takes part on Saturday June 8th with the theme of Great Inventions And Technology Through The Ages.
